A branding session is a photo shoot that helps you build a library of custom images that speak directly to your ideal clients- think of them kind of like your own personal stock image library. These aren’t your typical headshots. These are curated, thoughtful visuals that reflect your brand’s personality, mission, and vibe.

Together, we’ll plan everything—what kinds of shots you need, what props or models to use, what location fits your story best, if there's a better time of day we want to shoot. We’ll even create a shared Pinterest board to brainstorm color palettes, poses, and inspiration. (Bonus: this clarity often helps you get even more dialed in with your own brand.)

Honestly? Every small business owner.

Maybe you’re launching a new business or adding a new service and you want professional images for a launch. Maybe you’ve been using the same five images for the last three years and it’s time for a refresh. Or maybe your business is growing and you want to look like the next-level version of yourself. What Branding Session Should I Book?

Every photographer is different, but I typically offer half day and full day sessions.

Go big or go home, right? I used to offer shorter abbreviated sessions. But I ended up feeling the rush and time crunch, and I didn't like that. In order you for to get the most out of the session, things cannot be rushed. A half or full day allows us to plan and curate a photoshoot that is as multifaceted as your business.

Both of these sessions are great for major launches, businesses with multiple offerings, or folks who need a full gallery of website images. We can capture styled flat lays, model shots, team images, AND individual product details. A past law firm client even hired me to create images for every single page of their website—this is that level.

After the Shoot: What Happens Next?

After your session, you’ll receive a proofing gallery within 72 hours. These are lightly edited images for you to review and select your favorites from. Once you choose, I dive into the final edits—think blemish removal, lint clean-up, and general glow-ups (but never heavy retouching that makes you look fake—we’re all about real beauty here).

Turnaround time is usually 4 weeks, though rush edits are available for a fee if you're on a deadline.

And yes, extra photos can always be added on if you want more from your session. It happens all the time.

What if it rains? For outdoor shoots, we’ll set a rain date—this is Vermont after all!
