All I can say is that where does the time go?!
I think 2020 has just been such a roller coaster of, well, everything, that some days I've just been trying to make it through the day. Blogging unfortunately takes a back seat a lot of the time, and I'm not sure why. I've always told myself writing isn't my strong suit, but I don't think that is necessarily true. It just takes time. Time that I have, but after a long day of juggling clients, daily rebookings, daily bookings, accounting, marketing, dealing with the unpredictable Vermont weather when scheduling photoshoots, on top of all the other stuff we've had going on in 2020 (don't think I need to explain this one), I want to unwind with playing guitar or reading, or, as much as I hate to admit, zoning out to The Office for the millionth time.
So this is not a blog about any couple or hired gig, but I just wanted to share some beautiful photographs I took a few weeks ago, for no particular reason other than stop and look around, study the lighting and to experiment with my gear and post-production. No shot list, no timeline, just me and my camera. Just some time to be in nature, listen to it, see it, and capture it with some beautiful humility.
