Dakota and Chris were in on the trend on Micro-weddings before it was even cool. That's right! These two had planned for a small and intimate ceremony from the get go, at a small airbnb in Pownal, VT. These two are one of the few couples this year who have been able to keep their original weddings plans due to covid.
It was a hot and humid day down in Southern, Vermont, but that didn't matter. Surrounded by close family and friends, Dakota and Chris set up their ceremony location, their hand-made wooden tables for a family style dinner, and prepared delicious cheese plates and fruit platters, and grilled kebobs for dinner. I love small weddings like these, because everyone has a hand in making it; everyone is working together for everyone. I absolutely *love* being around this! Sure, there is so much excitement and adrenaline during a large wedding, but the intention and intimacy of a small wedding cannot be recreated during a large ceremony. So... yay for micro-weddings!
Dakota and Chris are two of the coolest cats! Laid back, accommodating, dog lovers, and truly perfect for each other. It was fun getting to know them more, getting to know their families, and truly feel like I was not just an observer of the wedding, but part of it. I seriously have the bet job!
So enjoy your Friday with some photos from their beautifully intimate and laid back Vermont micro-wedding!
