It was a beautiful and cold but not too cold for a lovely engagement session with Mariah & Ethan! I met them up in Jeffersonville where the Rail Trail begins. I've also been meaning to take my bike up there in the summertime and ride the trail; at least now I know where it starts!
It was my first time meeting the two and, I will admit it, I'm always nervous meeting couples for the first time; just those kind of butterflies, like "blind date jitters". But these two are so down to earth, so comfortable with themselves and each other, and it was hard to not have an amazing time! And of course, as an added bonus, their sweet little pup came along (she is obs in the wedding!).
We played around in the snow with their pup and got to know each other a bit. These two were great in front of the camera and just being with each other. And that's what it's all about! Mariah & Ethan were originally supposed to get married early June but have made the decision to postpone until the fall. I am sure it's not an easy decision to make, but I think it's the right choice. I'm so stoked that I was able and available for their new date, and I can't wait to boogie down with them at Boyden Valley this fall!
