"Barbee and her assistant did an amazing job photographing our wedding. She helped us find a package that worked for us, as she had to travel from Vermont/New England to Chicago to photograph. She took the time to help us work within budget, and her work is amazing. Barbee seems like a passionate artist and is definitely a people person. My wedding party stated many times how awesome and fun she was. This is paired with Barbee's professionalism and "help" when her subjects (sometimes dozens of family members made up of children and elderly) aren't being as cooperative as they could be! I also felt like she knew when to give us suggestions, and when she let us run with an idea. Her candid photos of dancing and dining were also amazing, and my wife and are very happy we went with Barbee/Owl's Iris Photography. We received a sneak peak very soon after the wedding and our digital and physical copies of photos in a timely manner. She also did a great job at getting lots of photos of the most important people and most important moments. I feel like the hours she was photographing were used very wisely."

We've been with Barbee through it all! Engagement, wedding, maternity, house selling and now family photos - she has been amazing, easy going and fun. Barbee made sure to spend the time getting to know us and helping us feel comfortable in front of the camera so that in our special moments she could capture our authentic connections. Barbee has been flexible, especially during our wedding when timing all went wrong and we couldn't make it to our main off site for photos. She quickly came up with creative ideas to give us the variety we hoped for. The final photos never cease to amaze us! We cannot recommend Barbee enough for all your photography needs!

Barbee did a wonderful, fantastic job for a maternity shoot for my husband and I. She made wonderful recommendations for different places to shoot the pictures within the area that we were at and made the whole process easy for both of us. "Barbee proved to be a talented and intuitive photographer and a very easy person to work with.
I had never worked with a photographer before so I didn't know how to communicate what I was looking for in product photography of my jewelry, and I feared my inability to communicate my needs would lead to being disappointed with the results.
But Barbee hit it out of the park.
She picked up on all the little details, intuited my aesthetic from materials, props, and past content, and styled the jewelry well without direction. Barbee even made a cute little GIF as a bonus, which we had never talked about.

Barbee (Owl's Iris Photography) took the photographs at our elopement on a cold but beautiful February day in Vermont. Leading up to the event, she was very communicative over email and also available for video chat as a "meet and greet" since we were coming in from out of town. She commented that she was scoping out the area around our venue (Shacksbury Cider) in advance to make sure she had photoshoot locations in mind. On the day of our elopement, she was punctual, attentive, and ready with ideas and locations. Barbee is incredibly friendly, laidback, and creative, and her artistry is reflected in her photographs. Barbee provided sneak peek photos within a couple days of our event and delivered the final photos within a few weeks. Her price was fair and she was flexible with the coverage hours needed for our event. I continue to follow Barbee's photography and artistic adventures on social media and really love what she creates!
