I have been told time and time again that I have a "calming energy" to me, which is just what you need on your wedding day, trust me! It is this gift of mine that allows for gorgeous and thoughtful stories unfold in front of me, and for me to find the ability for these stories to be artistically retold. I can step forward and give you direction when you need, and then blend back into the crowd where you'll barely known I'm there.

If you are looking for a photographer to come in and take some photos of your wedding, you're in the wrong place. I'm not sure how anyone can get quality photographs this way, if I'm being honest.
I want to get you know you but over the course of a year before your wedding, so when it comes to your wedding day, we are like old friends and you are totally comfortable with me (and my camera) on your wedding day. I dont' want to talk to you once, get your money, and then see you on the day of your wedding. Uh uh, NO way. This is also about building a relationship together so we can create beautiful works of art together.

"Barbee took the photographs at our elopement on a cold but beautiful February day in Vermont. Leading up to the event, she was very communicative over email and also available for video chat as a "meet and greet" since we were coming in from out of town. She commented that she was scoping out the area around our venue (Shacksbury Cider) in advance to make sure she had photoshoot locations in mind. On the day of our elopement, she was punctual, attentive, and ready with ideas and locations. Barbee is incredibly friendly, laidback, and creative, and her artistry is reflected in her photographs.
