Not only is a treat to travel to Portland, ME to photograph a wedding, but it's even more of a treat when it's your friends! Annie & Sean, like so many of my weddings this year, had to move their wedding due to the pandemic. I am so lucky and grateful that I had their new date open AND had a reason to travel to Portland (and let's be honest; to stop in the White Mountains and do some New Hampshire hiking!).
I've known Annie for years through a dear mutual friend. I even danced in a show the two of them choreographed and put on simply called "The Show" back in Burlington maybe 8 years ago(?!). I was so happy when she reached out for me to shoot their engagement and then wedding.
The two officially got married last year with a small gathering of VIP guests, so this year was a celebration of their marriage and the big party! It was a nice way for me to ease into the wedding season (not going to lie, I was feeling a bit rusty after an entire year away from big weddings!), to share my gift with some amazing friends, and to enjoy the city of Portland for a weekend.
